The Edgecliff “Worry Warriors“
The Edgecliff “Worry Warriors“ are a group of students from Year 9 who have been trained to provide “a listening ear” to Year 7 and Year 8 pupils who may be feeling worried about issues such as:
• Teenage anxieties
• Relationship worries
• Cyber bullying (text, email, Facebook, MSN)
• Homework troubles
• General bullying
The Worry Warriors can be identified by their special badges and will also go into Friday morning Year 7 and Year 8 tutor groups.
They can be approached for help in 3 ways.
• By talking to them at break, lunch, or tutor times.
• By sending an email to y7worrywarriors@edgecliff.co.uk or y8worrywarriors@edgecliff.co.uk
• Calling in at our “drop in” sessions on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes in Room 29 (Now called the Inclusion suite) between 12:45 – 1:15pm
